Guilty Pleasures?
This is really embarrassing – I love Star Wars and Call of Duty. My world was revolutionized when I saw Star Wars.
Pet Peeves?
There’s not really anything that sticks out to me – I’m pretty laid back. It takes a lot to get under my skin.
What are you involved with on campus?
I’m the President of the Interfraternity Council and I was the Vice President of Risk Management last year. I’m a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and involved with Greek Intervarsity…Oh and I’m causally a student.
What are your future career goals?
I would like to attend either Harvard or Columbia Law and ultimately move into finance. It’s funny because I didn’t really want to do the whole lawyer thing until I started thinking about college but my mom reminded me that my kindergarten teacher told her that I should be a lawyer because I was so argumentative. I feel like if my kindergarten teacher said it it’s destined to happen or something (laughs).
What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Depends what mood I’m in but I love doing dinner and a movie – I feel like it’s a good combination of interaction and actually doing something. I feel like that’s so generic – but I also love ice-skating in Millennium Park – so dinner, a movie and ice-skating in Millennium Park.
What do you find most attractive in a woman?
Integrity. I feel like there are so many beautiful women out there physically speaking. For me that’s not enough. I want a girl who’s loyal, compassionate, caring, loves her family – that’s really important – a girl who knows who she is and has a level of expectation of how she wants to be treated. That’s what I find most attractive.
How would you describe your personality?
I have this insatiable curiosity – a little like Curious George I guess.
What’s the best part of being Homecoming King?
I missed a lot of high school because of serious health problems, so I think when I got to college there was this kind of subconscious desire to make up for the experiences I missed in high school. So the best part about being homecoming king isn’t even quite about being king its about looking back on the past four years and everything that I’ve experienced and all the ways that I’ve grown – it’s kind of like reaching the top of the mountain.
