Spring is finally coming, though it doesn’t feel that way at Northwestern with the 30 degree weather. What should every girl be searching for to stock up her spring wardrobe? Here are the five main trends for Spring 2011.
1. Elegant Ladylike Pieces – Spring is all about being classy. From florals to lace, the conservative look is back. This is not the season to flaunt what your mother gave you, but embrace clothes that Audrey Hepburn would have worn. Maxi – I’m not a huge fan of the overwhelming maxi skirt look, but many long dresses are the perfect thing to pack for a weekend trip to the beach or a stroll in the park with the newest crush in your life.
