After a night-long thunder-and-lightning snowstorm, Evanston residents woke up to anywhere up to 20 inches of snow (the third largest snowstorm in Chicago’s history after 1967 and 1999). Northwestern has shut down the school for the day, making history as only the ninth time the school has called an official snow day!
