It’s been all over Yik Yak and you probably noticed it while checking the weather app on your phone: it’s supposed to rain on Dillo.

The ONE day that Northwestern students will spend the whole day outside enjoying the weather, music and friends, is the ONE day in the next few days that it’s supposed to rain.

So, how does one prepare for it?

Shoes:

You’ll want to opt or some sturdy rainboots for some combat boots you don’t mind getting muddy.

YOU DO NOT WANT WET SOCKS. Walking in wet socks for the whole day will ruin your day and is not good for your feet.

An Impermeable Layer:

A poncho! You can still show off your awesome Dillo outfit under these see-through and fashionable ponchos that you can purchase at CVS.

Waterproof Mascara:

It will sting your eyes, and you will look like a punk-rock artist (which is fine, if you’re going for that look). But Dillo is a great day to wear some waterproof mascara.

A sick hat:

Instead of your hat keeping the sun out of your eyes, your hat can keep the rain out instead! Maybe one a little more fashion-forward than the one below (although it would certainly get the job done as well).
