1. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Cleveland boasts the title “Home of Rock ‘n Roll” due to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the center of downtown Cleveland. With tons of exhibits featuring the most famous and influential people in music, it is easy to get lost in the glamorous displays of your favorite artists from AC/DC to Taylor Swift.

2. Sports

Okay, this one may be controversial at first glance but hear me out. Not only did we break our 52-year championship curse in 2016 when the Cavaliers won the NBA championship (and the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead), but our other professional teams have been on the come up lately as well. The Browns are in for a big year with a few standout players like Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry and Baker Mayfield (who I may or may not have hanging above my bed, refer to picture).

3.  LeBron

“CLEVELAND…….THIS IS FOR YOU!” I am tearing up.

4.  Loyalty

Say all you want about Cleveland, but you can’t deny our loyalty. Any fans who will stand in the freezing cold to watch the Browns suffer through a winless season have to be up there with the best fanbase in sports. The only other fanbase that I will entertain being brave in cold weather are Packers fans, but at least you have Aaron Rodgers.

5.  Lake viewz

Our river may be flammable, but there is a reason Lake Erie is a GREAT lake… there are several spots along the shore to hang out and enjoy the water. Spring break anyone??

6.  We’re rebuilding… constantly!

From our sports teams to the architecture downtown to new highways, ever since I can remember it seems that Cleveland has been rebuilding. Personally, I like to think of this as a positive in that we are constantly improving both culturally and infrastructurally.

7.  Community

Judging by this article alone, or if you know me even a little bit, you can tell that the Cleveland pride is extremely high for those of us who were born and raised in the Land. The community in Cleveland is truly unmatched and I know that no matter where I am, I will always be a Cleveland girl at heart.
