Alistair Begg once said, “If you have one true friend in the world, you are very rich.” I have known Chandler Turner since the incredible awkwardness known as Domerfest. People often dream of being able to live with their best friend, and I have had the incredible opportunity of not only living with her on campus, but also living together as we are studying abroad in London. We have traveled to Munich and all over Italy together, stuffed our faces with the unhealthiest of foods, cried about the many injustices facing our world, and grown physically, emotionally, and spiritually side by side over the course of almost three years now. I feel my life so much richer, so much happier with someone that I can spend hours with, knowing I can trust and count on her with the highest of certainties. She is so intelligent, beautiful, hilarious, and one of the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever met. I hope this article shows you a glimpse of the wonderful human she is! So, without further ado, lovely reader, meet my best friend, Chandler Turner!

What is one song you are currently obsessed with?
I am currently oBsEsSeD with “Angels” by Chance the Rapper. I’m actually going to his concert soon in Manchester and am SO excited!
What do you like best about Notre Dame?
I like that Notre Dame has a program in London because studying abroad has been a life changing experience. For someone who had never traveled out of the country (except for Canada if that counts), being in such a cultural city where traveling is so convenient has really put my life in perspective.

What do you wish you could change about Notre Dame?
Something I could change if possible would be the lack of diversity at Notre Dame. Not just ethnic diversity but also socioeconomic, religious, nationality, etc.
What are you involved in on campus?
On campus, I am in the Voices of Faith Gospel Choir and TroopND.
What has been your favorite experience about studying abroad?
Favorite experience about studying abroad is actually meeting people from ND that I didn’t know existed, like my flatmates.

Hands down favorite place I’ve been was Florence.

What is your favorite place to eat on campus?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Taco Bell. I miss it so much in London. I am going to spend all of my flex points making up for it this spring.
