On March 1, 2016, astronaut Scott Kelly returned to Earth after spending nearly a year (340 days) in the International Space Station, creating a new record for the longest stay in space by an American astronaut. During his stay in space, Kelly updated his Instagram with photos from the International Space Station for everyone back on Earth to enjoy. Here are some of his photos taken of planet Earth:
