Two Grueling Hours of Test Taking as Told by Gossip Girl

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Notre Dame chapter.

Hello undergrads! Gossip Squirrel here, your one and only source into the test taking lives of Notre Dame’s elite.

First semester has come and gone-oh, but not quite! You must first be subjected to one last two hour long exam before you can be set free to frolic in the winter wonderland. You’ve spent the last few days implementing the ziploc bag in the shower technique and have mastered what it means to study nonstop. You walk into you last final ready to SLAY.

And the professor hands you the exam.

But then you read the first question.

And look at your professor like:

Half an hour has gone by, and you’ve spent the past 5 minutes trying to get the TA’s attention.

THEN, the TA looks in your direction. You strain to raise your hand higher. But alas, that kid who always asks a million questions gets to her first.

By the time the TA finally gets to you, you’re sprawled out on your desk in near defeat.

At the halfway point of the exam you get a resurgence of motivation.

Followed by 15 minutes of panic-stricken page flipping,

during which you realize you know even less than you thought.

But wait, you come across a question that you’ve seen on a previous test! You remember it! You remember…that you didn’t know the answer then either.

The rest of the exam entails lots of this:

and this:

and especially this:

But at the end of the two hours, you hand your paper in like this:

happy to be done with exams for at least the next month and a half.

Did you pass the test? That’s one secret I’ll never tell. You know you love me.

Xoxo,

Gossip Squirrel
