Keeping Up with the Kardashians provides you with a complete hour of mind numbing relaxation in which you can trade in the stress of your life for the drama of theirs.

Though Kourtney is the eldest, Kim and her larger than life curves are often said to be the foundation of the family’s fame. I would be lying if I claimed that I have never watched a Kardashian make-up tutorial or googled Kim Kardashian’s workout routine, and I am sure I’m not alone. Their beauty is a key contributor to the success of the Kardashian brand, and that is nothing to be ashamed of.
These sisters have embarked on numerous business ventures with one another, taken endorsements, and created a brand that is not only focused on fame, but also on family. It’s impossible to argue that these women are not shallow and often ridiculous, but there is a depth to their bond. This focus on family adds a dimension to the Kardashians that many often overlook. Keeping Up with the Kardashians is successful because of the family’s interesting and entertaining relationship. These women are intriguing individually, but are elevated by their interactions with one another. Therefore, I appreciate the Kardashians for what they do for me, rather than what they do to society. They have provided me with a guilty pleasure that I have continually been forced to justify, but that has also brought me peace of mind. I do not believe that hours spent keeping up with the Kardashians are hours wasted, for it is in those moments that we can allow ourselves to sit back, relax, and act simply as a spectator in this chaotic world.
