It’s been a while and you finally settled down with someone. He’s so into you and would do anything you want but you suspect there’s something wrong… not with him but with you. He’s doing everything perfectly but you aren’t over the moon with him. He might just not be the right guy for you and there are some signs you should pay attention to:
1. He asks you to make plans and you constantly reject him making up lies -I’m sick, I have a lot of studying, too tired- but you end up going out with your friends instead cause admit it… they are way more fun!
2. You completely ignore his texts and only answer back whenever you’re bored and have nothing else to do.
3. Non-existent sparks: It’s pretty self-explanatory that if you don’t feel the urge to see him and not miss him even a little, he’s not the one for you.
4. Your friends never see him and know nothing about him. Whenever your friends ask you about him you try to change subject and if they ask why he didn’t come, you always make excuses even though you haven’t told him he was invited.
5. He’s there whenever you need company, he makes you food when you have a long day, gets you out for dinner, buys you gifts and showers you with compliments. That sounds perfect right? But for some reason you think he’s trying too hard, that he’s extravagant and over-romantic.
6. You find yourself thinking of other guys, flirt with them and whenever you go out with his friends you search for future partners. Now don’t get me wrong, if you are the type that innocently flirts with men but still have a boyfriend that does not mean you are not happy. The matter is what is your intention? Is it just innocent flirting or is it something more?
7. You are not sure if you are still attracted to him physically and you are never in the mood for sex.
8. You find all his quirks irritating, are annoyed whenever he is around and pay more attention to your phone rather than him.
9. You constantly forget important things he told you about himself: family names, friends’ names, favourite hobbies…
10. You aren’t letting him and you are never there for him: you are having a bad day, he comes over to help and you don’t want to tell him what happened, or something serious happened and you don’t trust him to tell him. Then, if he asks you to come over because he needs support and you can’t bother because a new episode of your favourite series is airing… well, do you both the courtesy and break it off.
