Like any makeup addict, I enjoy the odd splurge on a luxury branded product that I’ve no doubt had my eye on for some time. It became apparent to me that almost all of these impulse buys were from the same brand, so I decided to share my top 3 holy grail Nars products that are worth the money.

Foundation

As fantastic as drugstore makeup can be, I do hold the philosophy that you get what you pay for in the case of foundation. Of course, if you have perfect skin with nothing you cover you can get away spending less on your base, but for my problematic skin I reserve my splurging for fancy foundations. The reason I love Nars foundations so much are for their yellow-undertones, because it is almost IMPOSSIBLE for me to try a drugstore foundation without it coming off orange or pink. My personal favourite from Nars is their Sheer Glow- although its a hefty £33, it’s totally worth it once you see how your skin can look natural and dewy, yet still have those blemishes covered.

Eyeshadow

Nars eyeshadows are my all time favourites. Coincidentally, they are probably the most ridiculously priced things on the planet, but a girls gotta treat herself sometimes. My most recent purchase was the Narsisst Wanted palette, and Oh. My. God. is it beautiful. Who needs food for the week when your eyelids could look this pretty?

But you know, if you can’t justify spending the same amount on an eyeshadow palette as a weekly shop for a family of four, their single shadows retail for £21. (Which kind of makes the eyeshadow palette good value, no?)

My first ever lipstick was the Nars audacious lipstick in Raquel, and since then I’ve repurchased it about 3 times.  If you’re into long-wearing but non-drying lipsticks, I’d definitely recommend giving the audacious range a try. But if you’re in more of a subtle kind of mood, their lip glosses are the also to die for.
