With Halloween around the corner, students will soon be donning their budget costumes, hosting house parties and getting ready for the legendary Crisis All-Frighter. Don’t be left in the dark this weekend- try our Halloween cocktails and charm your haunted guests…
1. Black Widow
Ingredients:
- 3 oz. Vodka
- 2 oz. Grapefruit Juice
- 1 oz. Grenadine
- Garnish: Fake Spider
To make this mysterious concoction, simply combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker full of ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass and voila!
2. Pumpkin and Apple Cider Punch
For this witches/wizard’s pleaser, simply add four ingredients into a punch bowl:
- Apple Cider
- Spiced Rum
- Lemon Juice
- Pumpkin Puree (or juice)
Alternatively, if you wish to be a muggle, you can opt for the non-alcoholic Pumpkin Juice!
3. Bloody Mary
This old classic is scary enough as it is!
For Ingredients:
- 150ml of Tomato Juice
- 3 dashes of Tabasco Sauce
- 6 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
- ÂĽ Lemon juiced
- Ice Cubes
- Pinch of Salt and Pepper
- Celery to garnish
A bloody twist on this tropical classic. Ingredients:
- 25ml Coconut Crème
- 75ml Pineapple Juice
- 50ml Light Rum
- Garnish – Fake blood, gummy eyeballs, the full works!
For all of you girls out there who can’t get enough of your Starbucks, Her Campus has hooked you up with the cocktail form!
- 1.5 oz of Vodka
- Âľ oz of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Âľ oz Almond Milk
- ½ a tablespoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Garnish – Whipped Cream Â
A combination of Campari, Grenadine and White Peach Puree leads to a Halloween night of sophistication!
7. Creepy Eyeball Martini
These lychee eyes add a spectacular effect to any martini drink, especially this one:
- 4oz Vodka
- 3 oz Lychee Syrup
- 2 oz Blood Orange Liquor
- Garnish – Blueberries and Lychees on Cocktail Sticks
