So sun is finally peeking through the clouds which means it is fast approaching our favourite time of year – festival season! Her Campus is here to bring you the guide to the loudest and liveliest festivals throughout the UK and across Europe this summer.
Reading:
Reading Festival is the world’s oldest popular music festival still in existence, and yet it doesnāt seem to be slowing down coming into its 43rd year! Rock, alternative, indie, punk, metal, with big names, breaking acts, and exclusive performances Reading Festival has it all. While thereās not much nightlife at Reading due to those pesky noise restraints imposed at midnight, the line up year after year more than makes up for this!
Make sure to watch out for all the up and coming bands on the NME stage; a stage that has launched many a career in previous years.

This is the only big festival where you will find a Roma tent and even a gay-lesbian venue. And we shouldnāt forget about the fact that the festival is in the middle of Budapest, a touristic city with a lively cultural scene, beautiful historic buildings, Turkish spas and special āruin pubsā.
