Why did you guys decide to live together?
Hannah: We were all in H Block in Cripps Hall, apart from Sam who was in E and scraped in on our friendship. By Christmas of the fresher term, after frequent trips to Crisis and deep emotional chats, we decided that we got along well enough. We have lived in the same house for the past 2 years because we were too lazy to move and our house is really nice compared to some of the holes in Lenton.
Â
What are your tips for being a good housemate?
Sam: I have my car so endless lifts to the library and back from the train station.
Justin:Â Sam and I regularly buy treats from the Co-op to keep the girls happy.
Molly: I always do my washing up. And when I tidy people should keep it tidy.
Ria: Not slamming the door when people are trying to sleep!
Hannah: You definitely have to be pretty laid back living with so many people, which means sometimes letting things go when you really don’t want to.
Â
What is the most annoying thing about living with boys?
Ria: Fifa! Justin has broken 2 chairs because of his Fifa excitement.
Â
What is the most annoying thing about living with girls?
Sam: I can deal with all the hair falling out but I cannot deal with all the nagging.
Molly: Maybe if you did what we asked then we wouldn’t nag.
Justin: Loose Women and period chat.
Â
Who is the messiest?
Molly: Sam because he leaves stuff around without realising and he leaves his washing up for weeks. He once left a pan on the side for so long that it grew mould.
Ria: Sam – his room is an absolute hole.
Â
Have you had any arguments?
Sam: People don’t like it when I steal milk in my early morning confusion.
Hannah: Well, me and Sam are together so when we argue as a couple it can divide the house which is always awkward.
Â
What has been the best house party you have thrown?
Hannah: We had a poker night last term where the girls made cocktails and the boys played poker. The cocktails were very strong and we don’t really know what happened next.
Justin: I enjoyed my 21st birthday, but I would wouldn’t I? It’s all about me.
Â
What night do you all go out together?
Rosie: I enjoy rounding all of them up in Ocean.
Â
What will you miss most about living together?
Molly: Hangover days- being able to go from room to room enjoying the hangover together.
Sam: The excuse to watch awful TV like Big Brother and Made in Chelsea.
Hannah: I’m a sap so I’m going to say living with my best friends. Â
Ria: Watching Game of Thrones all together.
Rosie: I’m going to have buy my own hairdryer – I’ve been using everyone else’s for the past 3 years!
Justin: I will miss big house pre drinks and definitely beer pong. And gossip, definitely gossip.
