What is it?

Pink Parcel is essentially a box of supplies for your period needs. When you sign up, you give details of when your period is due, how far in advance of your period you would like the box to arrive, and what your preferred tampon/pad brand is.

They will then send you every month a different box with different surprise supplies to get you through your period. You can’t choose what comes apart from the tampon type- but really the surprise is most of the fun! At the moment it costs £9.95 for your first box which includes delivery.

Contents of February’s box:

24 x Tampax Pearl Tampons

1 x ‘fab little bag’ (a disposable tampon bag)

1 x 75 ml bottle of Aussie conditioner

1 x 100 ml SASS ‘soothe and smooth intimate shave gel’

1 x ‘I Heart Naps’ lavender scented eye mask

1 x double trouble chocolate fudge square

1 x Sass and Belle mini photo frame

1 x Lola’s ‘soothing body and massage oil’

1 x Lola’s ‘rainbows and whirlwinds’ tea

1 x Merumaya 2ml ‘melting cleansing balm’ make up remover tester pack

1 x Merumaya 1ml ‘iconic youth serum’ tester pack

2 x vouchers for Merumaya and Gousto

1 x ‘Pink Parcel Psst’ leaflet about this month’s box

Verdict

I really loved this idea! It saves the trip down to Boots at that time of the month to pick up tampons- they are delivered straight to your door at any chosen point in the month. To be honest, though, the surprise aspects of the box are the best. It’s genuinely quite exciting (does that epitomise how dull my week has been?) to open the box and see what beauty and food products they’ve sent this month.

However, this might be a downfall as it can be quite a lot of money to spend on tampons if they send you extra things that you don’t want or need. But frankly, I was really happy with this month’s box as all of the items are pretty much things that I would use. In sum
I’m not going to be cancelling my subscription anytime soon.
