We had an amazing Halloween weekend here at Her Campus Nottingham! We decided to get a little spooky, although I think in the end the result was more cute than scary! It’s the night that many countries dedicate to honour their dead, and others say that it’s when the separation between the living and the deceased is the smallest. Everyone has their own ideas about Halloween: whether it’s a night you eat so much that you lapse into a sugar coma; snuggle up with friends to watch scary movies; or party so hard that you wake the next morning half convinced that you actually *were* a cat the night before. This year, I spent my days leading up to Halloween carving these pumpkins (whilst chucking pulp at my unlucky helper) and watching ‘The Babadook‘ with my face hid behind a cushion for an hour. I’m happy to say that I spent the evening itself dressed as Pikachu in a tent in a field of alpacas. I hope that you too had a weird and wonderful celebration, and Her Campus wishes you a very Happy Halloween!
