Ever since the first trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby aired all those months ago a certain buzz has surrounded it, especially with Jay-Z as executive producer of the soundtrack and Leo supposedly back to his Titanic best. After it’s official release last week everyone seemed to have their opinions about it… did it live up to the hype? Did it capture the essence of the book?
