Ever since the first trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby aired all those months ago a certain buzz has surrounded it, especially with Jay-Z as executive producer of the soundtrack and Leo supposedly back to his Titanic best. After it’s official release last week everyone seemed to have their opinions about it… did it live up to the hype? Did it capture the essence of the book? Was it too stylised and not so great after all? Well, whatever your take on Luhrmann’s modern interpretation, the fashion – with Miuccia Prada on board and jewellery provided by Tiffany & Co – was always going to be great. No matter whether you loved the film or loathed it, 1920s style is well and truly back on the high street thanks to the remake. Think plenty of feathers, head pieces, beading and silk.

Here are some pieces that will transport you back to the Jazz Age this summer (hopefully to one of those crazy parties to capture Leo’s heart… too much to ask?)
