Don’t make it weird: Beginning to realize you have feelings for your bestie can be a little awkward to handle but, try your best not to overthink it and act funny around them. Just relax and act natural or they’ll def know something is up.

Be honest: It’s easier to let things off your chest in the beginning rather than hold it in and allow the feelings to fester inside. But whether you guys decide to date or not assure one another that it won’t be weird and it’s totally okay if they don’t feel the same way.

Don’t be jelly: If you aren’t quite ready to fess up to your friend or they have a boo or crush of their own don’t be upset, although they’re your crush you should still be happy for them and support them cause they’re your friend before anything.

Talk it out: If your friend decides they have the feels too, ask yourselves if this is something you guys are really ready for. Taking the step to be in a relationship can accidently ruin the friendship you guys have now. So be very sure not to rush into anything you know you aren’t ready for.

It’s totally normal to catch feelings for a close friend but, be sure to be very careful before just jumping out of the friend-zone.
