Long story short, I like boys. I especially like boys who have been carefully crafted and sculpted by a team of highly skilled writers. If this list consisted of every fictional male character I have temporarily fallen in love with, I would be able to fill a minimum of three Taylor Swift albums. So today, I am just going to share the top five fictional guys that I know we all wish were real.
Ron Weasley: The Harry Potter Series
Is it the red hair? His winning personality? The way he is completely and utterly devoted to Hermione? Ron is loyal, brave, kind and has a winning sense of humor. It is no secret that he is a caring boyfriend and there isn’t much I wouldn’t do to be with this redheaded wizard.
Will Turner: The Pirates of the Caribbean

*deep sigh* Will. What a great name to be paired with such a great guy. Now, there is nothing wrong with Captain Jack Sparrow but let’s be honest; Will is the real favorite in this series. This man stands up for what is right, literally and figuratively goes to the ends of the earth for those he loves, and is very, very good looking. Plus, his accent doesn’t hurt matters.
Flynn Rider: Tangled

Or as the real Disney fans know him as, Eugene Fitzherbert. Some might disagree with this one because he is an animated character. But let’s be real, not a single person I’m writing about actually exists. Flynn Rider is your typical “bad boy” that your mom warns you not to be with. But this man is not only incredibly brave and loyal, his rebel attitude paired with that dreamy smolder gets me every time.
Raymond: Aquamarine
Who hasn’t daydreamed about getting saved by this dreamy lifeguard? He is such a nice guy, who would never shy away from helping someone. He is realistic in the sense that he doesn’t know if he’s in love after three days, but he’s willing to keep going to figure it out. He will also accept you just the way you are, fins and all. And he can kitesurf. Just saying.
Tony Stark: Iron Man
I know the popular choice here would be Captain America or Thor, but there is something about this “genius billionaire playboy philanthropist” superhero that I just can’t get enough of. Not only is his confidence not able to be mirrored by any man, his loyalty to his team and his “always up for a good time” personality makes me swoon. And can we talk about how amazing he treats his girlfriend, Pepper?

So maybe I compare guys in real life to fictional males a bit much. But who can blame me when these are the competition?
