DIY: How To: Rhinestone Wall Letters!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OK State chapter.

How to create: The easiest homemade gift that any girl will love!

What you will need:
·      A block wood initial letter
·      A large container of rhinestones (Colored or clear but all circular)
·      Crafting glue (E 6000 is what I always use)
·      Optional:Paint and ribbon or tulle
What we are creating today is a block letter covered in rhinestones. This is a time consuming project, but it is perfect for big/little or a birthday present. Each letter takes about one hour to make and costs about $15 when finished. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make these cute decorations!
1.     Take off the price tag!
2.     If you don’t like the color or if you bought a plain wooden letter paint it the color of your choice. I bought my letters already painted black from hobby lobby, but I would recommend painting yours if you are using clear rhinestones.
3.     Cover a small section of the letter with glue. I say a small section because the glue will dry quickly.
4.     Starting on the edge start applying rhinestones working your way to the center.
5.     Continue to do small sections until your letter is completely covered with rhinestones
6.     Add a bow out of ribbon or tulle to make your letter look super sassy!
7.     You are done!
For cute wrapping for this project, get a clear cellophane bag and place the letter inside. Tie shut with the same ribbon or tulle used in the project!
