After 25 years, The Lion King is making a grand reappearance in our lives. Not only is this iconic childhood movie returning in live action, but so is one certain voice actor that is essential to this film.Â
James Earl Jones has returned to play Mufasa again and honestly we wouldn’t want it any other way. We’re getting the same character and same voice, but also the same emotional tugging that comes with the heart warming film.Â
The film is also bringing on other celebrities such as Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce as Nala and Seth Rogan as Pumbaa. People can’t wait for this movie to hit theaters. The fact that the director, Jon Favreau, has cast new voices but keeping Jones as that original monumental role is greatly appreciated.Â
The Lion King live action will be released July 29, 2019.Â
