What brought you all the way from India to OSU?:
I hear that OSU was culturally diverse, with more than 48 countries represented by its students. I also thought it would be a good university to work on my interpersonal skills.
Now that you’ve been at OSU for a while, what is your favorite part about being here?:
The people of OSU are my favorite. Everyone is very friendly, nice and welcoming. They take an interest in other cultures and are adventurous to trying new things.
Where is your favorite place in Stillwater?:
Murphy’s. It’s the place where connections happen. I go in there to play pool, and I usually always come out meeting at least five new people!
What do you want to do when you graduate?:
I’d like to stay in the U.S. and get good work experience. Then I’d like to start my own business. I want to open a sports bar but with Asian sports, like cricket and futbol.
What are the qualities you look for in someone you’re interest in dating?:
I really like to see a woman who can represent her culture passionately. She can tell you all about her culture in a genuine way and not just because you ask her about it.
If you were snowed in over the weekend and only had Netflix to keep you entertained, what types of shows or movies would be in your queue?:
I like watching historical documentaries, especially on major historical figures, like Gandhi, or war figures, like Abraham Lincoln or Saddam Hussein.
What is your guilty pleasure?:
Definitely finding free things on campus, especially food, but sometimes I go to career fairs that are not in my field to try and get a free shirt.
