It’s that time of the semester again. Mid terms are over and your motivation is no where to be found. Are you suffering from the mid semester slump?
You have already given up on getting all A’s this semester
Your motivation is gone
You regularly skip classes
You may even be behind on your work
You procrastinate. A lot.
Sleep has never been so precious
In fact, getting out of bed is the hardest part of your day
You have stopped putting a ton of effort into your appearance.
Thankfully the mid semester slump is not incurable.
Get Organized
Getting organized will make such a big difference! Clean your room and become best friends with your planner! It will work miracles.
Sleep!
I am so guilty of staying up too late but being sleep deprived will only make things worse. Stick to a consistent sleep schedule of at least eight hours.
Don’t underestimate the importance of self-care.
Of course, you need to balance your priorities (for example don’t take more study breaks then actually studying).
Change your perspective.
Remember, this feeling is only temporary and you will get through it!
