Workout clothes are some of my favorite clothes to wear, both at the yoga studio and in the classroom. It’s hard to find quality clothes that either don’t break the bank or last a long period of time. These are my favorite nine choices to purchase workout clothes for any budget, without going overboard.
1. Old Navy
Our favorite elementary and middle school clothing provider has some quality active wear at affordable prices. With sales frequently both in store and online as well as SuperCash options, Old Navy has some really cute and affordable workout clothes that are durable enough to withstand many workouts.
2. Target
As if we didn’t already love this store enough, Target has some great options with the Champion Brand as well as their exclusive line of JoyCo, another workout clothing brand. Their sales on activewear aren’t as frequent, but the quality of the clothing at Target is just as good as anything else! Bonus 5% off if you have a RedCard.
3. Walmart
Call me crazy but Walmart has had some really great workout clothes with cute styles like open backs or cute cutouts. Their workout clothing is very affordable with pieces under ten dollars, which is helpful to any budget.
4. Athleta
I love Athleta. Hands down. But their prices are pretty expensive. Their online sale section has pieces discounted to fifteen dollars or more, leaving me with room to purchase a few things here and there at more affordable rates.
5. LuLuLemon
Again, their prices are pretty high, but they do have some quality workout clothes. Check out the “We Made Too Much” section online for discounted sale items.
6. Amazon
You’d be surprised just how expansive of a line Amazon carries. Your favorite brands and other brands that are sure to become your favorite are just one click away. You might be lucky to catch a deal on Amazon for something less expensive than the retail price somewhere else.
7. JCPenney
With sales frequently, online circulars, and lower prices, JCP is sure to help your wallet with name brands like Nike or Under Armour. It’s affordable, easy to shop, and have some great selection of quality brands.
8. Kohl’s
With online circulars, coupons, and sales, Kohl’s also has an extensive list of name brand workout clothes that won’t break the bank. Kohl’s also has other quality brands of activewear that have demonstrated to be just as effective elsewhere.
9. Marshall’s
If you have a Marshall’s in your area, take advantage of it! They typically have a diverse section of active wear with affordable prices and an inventory that changes out frequently. Affordable and cute, the store has a lot of great choices for active wear that won’t break your budget.
