I am always on the hunt for a good vegan food. So, this weekend, my friends and I were taking a trip to Oklahoma City (OKC) to check out the Myriad Gardens, and we decided to stop by this wonderful little vegan cafĂ© called Plant.Â
Â
Â
Plant is a cafĂ© in Midtown OKC that serves 100% gluten, dairy, soy, corn and peanut free food. It was founded to make real and simple food accessible to the OKC community. As I walked up to the cafĂ©, it was such an aesthetic place. The outside of the cafĂ© was a teal color with contrasting white tables and chairs. Holiday lights were going up which gave the place so much life. To the side of the cafe is this beautiful mural perfect for cute pictures.Â

Inside the café matches the adorable exterior. The seating area was perfect for whether you were coming with a huge group of friends or by yourself wanting to get some work done. The menu was easy to read with something for everyone. Also, some menu items changed based on the season and availability of ingredients. I wanted to get everything, but I opted for an iced matcha latte which had house made almond milk, matcha, and maple, as well as the avocado toast with gluten free sourdough, avocado, radish, cilantro, and cashew-ranch. The food arrived quickly and was beautifully plated. The matcha latte was just right, and, even though I am not the biggest fan of almond milk, I found it delightful. Bonus points to them for using reusable straws which made the experience so much better. The avocado toast was also amazing with a nice crunch from the radish and the cashew-ranch, which was my favorite part. In addition to these items, Plant kind of has it all. From ice creams to smoothies to soups and even brunch, there is so much more to try here and I cannot wait to go back. While a bit on the pricey side, the food was worth it, and I definitely recommend trying this place out!
