I recently stumbled across my new favorite pinterest trend while browsing the food column (naturally). Anyways, this newly found love of mine is perfect for entertaining or date nights, and can be customized to fit any occasion. I won’t keep you guessing any longer, its charcuterie boards. Weird right? I always thought of charcuterie board as just meat and cheese served to you when you are a guest in someone’s home. I was so wrong! There are so many adorable (and photographic) charcuterie boards on pinterest that you’ll never run out of options!
Â
Traditional
A traditional charcuterie board consists mainly of meats, such as salami, and an assortment of cheeses. However it’s not uncommon to see things like grapes or, my personal favorite, jams! These timeless staple will suit any of your appetizer needs when entertaining! With so much variety your guests are sure to love this spread!

Salty
There are so many ways to prepare a charcuterie board for dinner! My personal favorites are tacos, hotdogs and burgers. All you need to do is put the base food around the outside of the board, and fill the center with the toppings! For more options, check out blogger Reluctant Entertainer.
