Dear Harry,Â
At 12 years old, I first discovered One Direction, which quickly became my life. Posters covering my walls, songs blasting at all times- I was obsessed (still am). Even though One Direction isn’t technically together anymore, it still means a lot to me. Â
At 20 years old, you are still such an important figure in my life. In all the years that I have supported you, you have always radiated positivity and authenticity. I’ve spent countless hours defending you against every negative comment on Twitter, or even things that people would say to me in school. Yet through all the negativity, you seemed so unfazed by it and focused only on the positive. This inspired me to do the same.Â
One of the best nights ever was your concert at MSG. I have never seen a solo performer, with no backup dancers, have such a huge stage presence. Your voice is unreal, your personality shines on the stage, and I know that the audience could feel how happy you were to be on that stage. Something during this concert that meant so much to me was that you sang “What Makes You Beautiful.” This song was a major staple of One Direction, and it felt so special me, and I’m sure other One Direction fans, that you honored the band in every concert on your tour with this performance. A lot of people try to distance themselves from where they started, but it doesn’t surprise me that someone as true and humble as you would choose to honor it.Â
Thank you for all you have done for me and being unapologetically you. I will continue to love and support you for as long as I live. I also will be waiting for that 1D reunion for as long as I live.Â
HCXO,Â
Natalie Â
P.S. Drop the album :)Â
