Most teens heading toward college have been told again and again that their freshman year will be the best of the next four years of their life. While there’s a lot to look forward to, there’s also a lot to be scared about. The pressure to be involved in groups and extracurriculars is strong, but the fear of how to get involved is much stronger. An ARC, or Academic Residential Community is the perfect way to start off on the right foot in college, both socially and educationally. Here are eight reasons why you should consider living in an ARC. Â
- Making friends becomes the easiest part of your first year Â
- You’ll study togetherÂ
- More importantly, you’ll party together
- You’ll share everythingÂ
- Your common interests will keep you active
- Despite your commonalities, others will appreciate your differencesÂ
- You’ll be surrounded by others who are driven, which in turn will motivate youÂ
- These friends will last
