This week’s Campus Cutie is Erin Coates hailing from sunny San Diego. She is a freshman in the School of Journalism and Communication majoring in Journalism. She a copyeditor for Duck TV and a writer at Ethos.
HCO: What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Bubbly, outgoing, and driven.
HCO: Favorite food?
Tacos, but only from Southern California. The Mexican food here cannot compare to the food back home in San Diego.
HCO: Do you have a favorite book or author?
I would say my favorite authors are Jane Austen and Nicholas Sparks.
HCO: What is your go to accessory?
My outfits are not complete without a bow in my hair. I’ve started making them for myself so I do not have to purchase them from stores.
HCO: What’s your favorite memory from this school year so far?
Becoming a part of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and becoming close friends with my sisters, especially my big, Quinn Hopp. My grandmother was also in Gamma Phi so it is special sharing that bond with her as well.
HCO: Let’s play two truths and a lie.
My uncle is Michael Jordan.
My cousin has 2 CDs.
I have played softball since I was 7 years old.
(The lie is softball. My uncle isn’t the Michael Jordan everyone thinks of!)
