Campus Cutie: Kelly Weiss

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oregon chapter.

Year in school: Sophomore

Relationship status: Oh boy! Well… you could say someone has possibly caught my eye.

Major: Business

Hometown: Redmond, WA.

HCO: What is your favorite quote to live by?

“There’s always a reason to smile” I heard this on Winnie the Pooh, and ever since then it kind of defines who I am. Because really if you think about it, we all have so much to be happy about.

HCO: Name the best/funniest pickup line that has been used on you.

“If I had a nickel for every time I saw someone as beautiful as you I’d have five cents.”

HCO: What is your best college memory so far?

Probably falling down the Autzen stairs at my first football game in front of thousands of students. Definitely one of my prouder moments.

HCO: What does a guy have to do to make you fall head over heels?

Well I’m always stressed out. So when a guy is capable of making me laugh when I’m feeling down on myself, there’s pretty much nothing better. A guy that just makes me ultimately happy and can put a smile on my face is number one in line in my books.

HCO: Describe your dream date.

Simply driving to the middle of nowhere in a truck where all that surrounds you is the stars and each other. Just laying in the back of the truck with lots of blankets and pillows and listening to music/talking sounds beyond perfect to me. I don’t need anything extravagant. I’m such a hopeless romantic!

HCO: Dog or cat person?

What’s a cat?

HCO: Would you rather be go about your normal day naked or fall asleep for a year?

I’m all about the birthday suit! I would hate to miss out on a year of my life.

HCO: What do you think your future looks like?

Wow! I need to think about this one. I just hope it’s filled with lots of adventure, ups and downs, and so much laughter and love. I don’t want a plan, I just kind of want to see where life takes me.

Currently a senior at the University of Oregon, I am the Editor-In-Chief of the Oregon chapter of Her Campus. My dream is to be able to combine my love for travel with my love for journalism. I hope to be a part of something inspiring.
