Meet this week’s Campus Cutie and fashionista, Paige Ogden
Year in School:Â Senior
(Nasty Gal Dress; Steve Madden Combat Boots; H&M Hoops; Homemade & Urban Outfitters Bracelets;Rings from Peru & Etsy; Bag from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico)
HCO: Where are you from?
The Bay. Well, San Francisco. Specifically, Mill Valley.
HCO: How would you describe your style? Where do you get your inspiration?
I would best describe my style as boho-edgy-california-chic and honestly, sometimes things get a little ghetto. But more Aaliyah, rock-the-boat swag and less Lil Kim ghetto, you feel me? I definitely like to put my own spin on things. I take a lot of inspiration from styles I see on the street, especially when I lived abroad. Traveling really inspires my sense of style, like blending a little Milan with Morocco. I love chunky Peruvian rings, golden hoops, camo and everything black. Nothing makes me happier than neutrals.
HCO: Do you have a fashion icon? If so, who is it?
Wow, there are just so many. Bridget Bardot, because I’ve just always really wanted to look like her, and Rumi Neely, the author of my favorite blog, Fashion Toast. I actually take a lot of inspiration from her with my style; I just wish I could afford her wardrobe. And obviously one of my girl crushes, Sienna Miller, because she always looks so clean, feminine, flirty, edgy, sexy and any other positive things I could say about her. Who doesn’t love themselves some badgalRiRi? Rihanna’s always got my favorite runway style and just keeps it so real on insta, you got to respect that.

HCO: If you could wear any designer who would it be?
Calvin Klein or Stella McCartney. Calvin Klein is so basic and feminine. Stella McCartney and I have had a soul connection since 7th grade, when I started wearing her perfume. I still wear it to this day, everyday. Regardless of our one-sided spiritual connection, her collections are so feminine and effortless, but still edgy. The carnivore/leather lover in me hates to admit how cool it is, but her lines are completely vegan, which is pretty remarkable for such a successful fashion designer.
HCO: What is your ideal outfit?
My go-to outfit on a warm day is combat boots, denim shorts, a lacy bra and a tank. On a cold day, probably the same thing with a sweater over it.
HCO: With an unlimited budget where would you shop?
Stone Cold Fox, For Love and Lemons, Spanish Moss, Planet Blue, Novella Royale, Spell Designs and probably purchase some designer bags and other unnecessarily expensive things I claim to need but actually just really want.
HCO: With a realistic one, where do you shop?
NastyGal, Tobi, Brandy Melville, Free People, H&M, Zara. And I’m a bargain shopper; TJ Maxx and Marshalls are my jams.

HCO: Three items in your purse right now?
My headphones, a matte black lighter I bought purely for the aesthetic appeal, I don’t even think the flame works, and a surplus of lip balms.
HCO: What’s playing on your iPod right now?
So Far To Go by J Dilla ft Common & D’Angelo.
HCO: Favorite quote?
My quote to live by is by my favorite author Chuck Palahniuk from his book Diary: “We all die, the goal isn’t to live forever. The goal is to create something that will.” Create a legacy; or an iPhone if you’re Steve Jobs.
