Sometimes a bun is necessary.
I love a good bun, or a comfy ponytail; however, I hate having an unfinished, careless look. Solution? A bun holder. I saw this on ASOS.com and fell in love. The only thing that turned me off was the flowers size. Since I decided this accessory was a necessity for my life, I decided to recreate my own, smaller version — and it was surprisingly easy! Head to your local craft store and prepare to transform a boring old up-do into a work of art with one easy step!

Materials:
Glue gun
Scissors
Elastic
Small floral buds
1. Cut your elastic into a six inch piece, and cut the stems on your flowers to about an inch. You’ll be sticking the flowers into the elastic before hot glueing them in, so you want to make sure that they will be easy to handle. Once all of your supplies are prepped and your hot glue gun is ready, get to work!
2. To put the rose in place, pierce the stem through the elastic, and then put a dot of hot glue at the base of the rose. Wait a minute for the glue to dry, and then bend the stem inward so it won’t poke you when you are finished. Make sure to leave about an inch on each end of the elastic while putting the roses in so it can be tied together when you finish.
3. Once you’re done inserting the rose buds, make sure that they are glued on securely and the ends are flat. I used about 15 small rose buds for my bun holder, staggering them around my elastic. When everything is smoothed out and settled, tie it together and you are done! Throw your hair into a sock bun, or a ponytail, and add on your new accessory!
