When your life is busy, there’s often little time to eat healthy and take care of yourself. However, leading a healthy lifestyle can affect your whole outlook and success overall. It’s important to be aware of how you treat your body, mind and people around you.

Here are some easy ways to be healthier this week:

Drink all the water

Everyone knows drinking water is important. Staying hydrated will make you feel more energized and focused in class. In the lib they have bins with reusable water bottles that you can pick up for free. Drink up!

Walk to class

Skip EMX and walk to campus. Getting any extra exercise in will help you burn some calories and get your blood pumping.

Listen to calm music while studying

There are tons of premade playlists on Spotify for you to listen to while studying. You can check them out and zen out while you study. It’s important to take care of your mind too!

Grab fruit on your way to class

In the dining halls, there’s always a bunch of fruit that you can grab before heading out to go to class. Stock up, eat up, and stay healthy.

Do squats while you binge watch Netflix

This is my favorite. At the end of a long day, when you want to sit and watch Netflix make yourself do squats while watching your favorite show. It’s an easy way to be active and still watch your favorite shows.

Face masks

Skin care is important, and, unfortunately, overlooked. Doing a face mask once a week can set up your skin for the week.

Skip the soda

In the dining hall skip the soda and have water. If you want to have a drink that’s not water, opt for unsweetened tea.
