Anyone else out there who suffers from annoyingly thin hair? Yeah, me too. You can never go long without one of your many dry shampoos because let’s be real, we have more than one as they don’t seem to last long enough, I swear. I try not to shower every day because they say over washing can damage your hair and strip the natural oils. But what about those of us who seem to have too much natural oils and can never achieve the voluminous blowout we all want? Yes, I know dry shampoo does the trick nine times out of ten, but sometimes you just want to switch it up, right? Well thankfully to the many different brands out there we have some options. Bed Head has a great product called “Queen For A Day Thickening Spray,” and it’s the answer us thin-haired people have been searching for. This month the HCO Nationals sent out the #survivalkits and it included many great products such as Almay eyeshadow quads, Buxom lip stain, self tanner, Bed Head anti-frizz spray and much more. But the one product I wanted to try was the thickening spray because who doesn’t want to be ~queen~ for a day?! I tried it out and here’s what I found.

  1. First of all it smells great, very fruity and citrus smelling.

  2. It’s great for people with thin hair, it doesn’t make your hair too stiff.

  3. The product is very buildable, you can add more for a thicker volume.

  4. It lasted for more than 24 hours, which says a lot for people who know how thin hair reacts (it won’t stay up for anyone or anything).

  5. It doesn’t make your hair greasy or shiny.

  6. It actually does what it says it will: “Feel like a queen, look like a Superstar! Get volume, body and lift that just won’t quit! This amazing thickening spray helps to create volume and texture that lasts! Spray on roots to add lift or on mid-lengths to ends for texture.”

   7. It’s relatively affordable. Some places are less expensive than others. It can range from around $12 and up to $20 depending on where you go.
