The Happiest Face on Earth that Feeds America

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oregon chapter.

‘Tis the holiday season of giving–so why not treat yourself at the same time? During my daily online shopping search, I stumbled upon the Disney x Kiehl’s collection. It’s as if Kiehl’s read my mind because I love anything Disney, discovering new skin care trends and making a difference.

Kiehl’s partnered up with Disney to introduce a Hydration Essentials Collection. Disneyland may be known as the Happiest Place on Earth, but Kiehl’s new product may as well be known as the Happiest Face on Earth. A skin care product with Mickey’s face on it can only make your day brighter. Mickey is the face of Disney, and who wouldn’t want to resemble Mickey’s cuteness. I never considered Mickey’s face as a skin care icon, but now I resonate with his shining complexion.

Beyond providing you with new skin care products, Kiehl’s commits to helping others and raising money for charities. Kiehl’s Disney collection particularly supports Feeding America, a nonprofit organization pledging to fundraise meals to benefit children’s health and well-being. According to Feeding America, “41 million people face hunger in the U.S. today – including nearly 13 million children.” It’s a win-win holiday purchase because 100 percent of Kiehl’s net profits will aid over 1,100,000 meals toward Feeding America.

For the Mickey to your Minnie, Kiehl’s also offers a gift for him that is sure to make him feel his freshest self. So, if you’re still on the hunt for a holiday gift for bae, hakuna matata.

Whether it’s treating yourself or gifting for a loved one, you still create change by providing a meal for a child in need by purchasing Kiehl’s new Disney collection. Although I have yet to try the Disney x Kiehl’s collection, I bet it will leave a little sparkle and happiness to your face.
