How Her Campus Oregon Takes On Midterm Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oregon chapter.

As any college student will tell you, midterm week is almost as bad as finals week. Just as we start settling into our classes, midterms seem to come out of nowhere. We go from enjoying time with our friends and just chilling to a week where we have no idea why we even exist anymore. You know exactly what I am talking about. So, follow me and some fellow Her Campus writers as we tackle midterm week head on!

1. The Sunday before midterm week.

2. Wanting to have the motivation to do your work, but your bed is calling your name.

3. When you just can’t with your life because you are running on one hour of sleep.

4. When the realization hits you that your midterm is in 5 hours, and you don’t even know the first thing on the study guide.

5. Us Ducks actually like the rain because it gives us a shower, and at the same time, it hides our tears.

6. The gut wrenching feeling of walking into your midterm.

7. When you enter the building where your class is and you get this rush of confidence and you feel like Beyoncé because you know you are going to make this midterm your bitch.

8. When you just finished your midterm knowing you made it your bitch.

9. Realizing your stress eating is just too real to handle.

10. Thinking you aced your midterm, but finding out you actually got a D.

11. When you realize students who get Cs also get degrees.

12. When you are just trying to make it through this week because you need that money to support yourself.

13. When the week finally ends and you realize just how mentally, emotional, and physically strong you are.

To all of our fellow Ducks out there, remember you guys can do this. It is just another 5 weeks until finals!!

Hi, I'm Taryn and I am a senior at the University of Oregon. I have an unhealthy obsession to traveling and shopping. I also need to have fries and a glass of champagne a day to stay alive.
