Loveable Lipstick Shades from MAC

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oregon chapter.

Fall: the season for cozy sweaters, pumpkin lattes, riding boots, and most importantly, your new favorite MAC lipstick shade. This season, complete your wardrobe with one of MAC Cosmetics lipstick shades. Whether you are on campus studying for a group project or getting ready for a night out on the town, a little lipstick will be the perfect final touch for your outfit.

If you’re looking for a shade to compliment your “going out on the town” outfit, try one of MAC’s brighter shades such as “All Fired Up” or “Impassioned”. Everyone will notice when you walk in a room wearing one of your new lipstick shades. These two hot fuchsia shades are a fabulous pick for fall.

For date night or wine night with friends, a pretty red shade will do. “MAC Red” is a classic rich red shade. The shade “Russian Red” has a sophisticated look to it and looks great on anyone.

For days spent on campus studying or in Starbucks chatting with a friend, try a more suttle shade. The shade “Angel” is a soft pink and is compatible with multiple styles. A personal favorite of mine is “Speak Louder”. This clean preppy pink shade is not too bright and adds a pop to any look. “Pink Pearl” and “Speed Dial” are frosted shades that give your lips a nice natural glow.

Once you get one you will just have to come back for more. The next time you head to the mall or MAC store try to pick up one of these MAC shades. They are reasonably priced at only $15 and have hands down become my favorite accessory.
