I have this very clear image of Sara Jessica Parker in the title sequence of ‘Sex in the City.’ Pink crop top, high-waisted skirt, and glamorously freeing the nipple 90’s style. This idea, among others, is my inspiration for ditching my bra this fall. Here are the rest:
- Sag-free For Eternity: According to a study conducted by Jean-Denis Rouillon, a sports medicine specialist from the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire in Besancon, France depriving your melons of gravity can actually weaken surrounding muscle and tissue. If your body is not fit to hold their weight they will be more susceptible to sagging over time
- No Sweat Sweaters: I, and likely many of you, tend to frequent the men’s section a lot during my fall and winter shopping excursions. Therefore most of my sweaters, and likely many of yours, are a few sizes large. This is great because that’s the look we’re going for. Also great because the girls can bounce around under there and no one needs to know.
- Don’t Break the Bank: Bras are just so expensive. Keeping around three at a time versus ten at a time is definitely going to add up. I can think of about 100 other ways I’d rather wear my money.
- No More No-Shows: Why are there a thousand different versions of invisible bras? This one seems a little too obvious but I assure you, no one is going to see the bra that you’re not wearing
- Back Fat Betty? You know where I’m going with this. Even the most in-shape version of myself is a victim. And she’s definitely going to thank me when she’s rocking her tight turtleneck this fall without a back roll in sight
- Do it for the Look: So braless was a look, then it wasn’t, and now we’re in this weird transitioning stage where it’s almost a look again. My opinion? I’m so here for it. Regardless of your personal style, the best look is being comfortable and confident in whatever look you’re rocking. So if you wanna keep the ladies on lock, that’s cool too. Keep doing you!
