“When it comes to fashion on campus, I believe that less is more.  My go-to pieces are normally classic, chic items that can be found in anyone’s closet–and I never over-accessorize.  For example, skinny jeans and cigarette pants are staples in my closet because they have an incredible way of making a seemingly ordinary outfit choice exceptionally fashionable.  Right now, I really love the color blocking trend because it allows you to explore wardrobe combinations that you may have never considered before.  I love that I can pair a great pair of colored skinny jeans with a contrasting hued top–it’s a trend that’s bold enough to get you noticed, but it doesn’t require endless hours and dollars spent at the mall in an attempt to be trendy.  It’s also a trend that’s easy to incorporate in terms of campus practicality; a comfortable sweater of any color not only goes great with a different colored pant, but it’s also easy to walk around in, and you don’t get strange looks from fellow students who are wondering why you’re wearing the same outfit that you wore to Park Street the night before to class that day.”
