With the constant rise of boy bands like Boyz II Men and the Backstreet Boys, it seems like the newer generation of pop wonders such as One Direction and The Wanted aren’t too far off when it comes to popularity. Â
Perhaps it was this inspiration that urged the early 2000s alternative rock band Fall Out Boy to release their new single “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).”  Only released this past Monday, it’s been getting a lot of attention; already becoming the No. 4 on iTunes overall, and No. 1 on the iTunes alternative chart as of 3pm that same day.Â
It’s been a little over three years since the Fall Out Boy hype slowly began to deteriorate, but with their new video attracting tons of views and their upcoming tour dates spanning May to June, 2013, this may just be the face-lift the band needed. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, the video was shot at Comiskey Park, Chigago, which also happens to be the band’s hometown. Â
