Protest on High Street

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OSU chapter.

Earlier today, if you were on High Street by the Ohio Union, you might have seen (or heard) a large group of people chanting and holding signs. According to a police officer at the scene, the protest was organized by Westboro Baptist Church.  A counter protest also formed at the scene, with both sides being carefully watched and regulated by nearby police officers.
