Zoe’s Style Blog: Maximize it!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OSU chapter.

This spring season, maxi is the new mini!  If you want a timeless, classic look, forget about showing off your legs and focus on flaunting some awesome fabric!  From hippy grunge to boho edge, velvet to lace and crochet to silk, the varieties of styles are endless!

You can find any maxi style to match your personal look.  Choose the material of your maxi piece accordingly, to fit with the climate of your city and your own individual style. You can find maxi pieces in so many different colors and patterns, from bold and bright to neutral sheers; wear whatever is most suitable to you.

Maxis are so versatile; they can be worn to a classy event and also worn more casually.  Pair these long pieces with a cute tank or strapless corset to keep you cool during the summer!  Most importantly, make sure to not wear baggy on baggy—you do not want all of your feminine curves to get lost in billowy fabric!  Flats, sandals, and wedges are the perfect summer shoe to wear with these pieces.  Whether you are going to an important event or just hanging out, maxis add the perfect amount of confident style.  So try something new on campus and MAXImize your style!  The weather is starting to warm up, so cool down with these fun flowing pieces!
