Al Roker is possibly our most famous alumni. He has been gracing television for many years.
After graduating from Oswego, Roker moved to Washington, D. C. to work at an independent station. His career began in 1978, when he was hired by WKYC-TV in Cleveland. Roker was promoted and kept working his way up. He became a meteorologist.
You can catch him on the Today show, where his has been working since 1996. Roker also co-hosts the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
