Dan Erne ’13

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oswego chapter.

As a pitcher on the Oswego State baseball team, Dan Erne doesn’t have much time for relaxation during the season. But when he isn’t out throwing a ball, you’re likely to find him somewhere near the water where it’s calm and well, beautiful. Head over to a game to see this cutie in action, or traipse down to the water for some fun in the sun. Who knows? Maybe he’ll save you from “drowning.”

Age: 20

Hometown: Rochester, N.Y.

Ethnic background: Lebanese, German, Irish

Expected graduation date: May 2013

Major (s) and why: Business Finance. I want to go into the business world and it has a lot of jobs, so it was an easy choice.

Relationship status: Taken

Involvement on campus: I play on the intercollegiate baseball team.

Favorite Oswego hangout: I’d have to say the bluffs or right down on the lake off campus. You can’t beat the scenery here.

Favorite Oswego memory: Definitely every year I’ve come to Harborfest in the summer. Everyone is outside just having a good time, and there are barely any cops around.

What’s your idea of a perfect date? I’d take her to dinner at an upscale place and then find a quiet place to go watch the sunset.

What’s your favorite pickup line?
Guy says, “Hey, are you that girl having sex with that college guy?”
“No?”
“Do you wanna be?”

Have you used that pickup line? Hahaha no!

What’s your favorite movie? “Goodfellas,” definitely.

If you could be any color, what would it be and why? Aqua blue. I would stand out and be unique!
