End Of The Semester

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oswego chapter.

It’s that time once again. One more semester over. For some of you it might just be the end of freshmen year, for others it could be your last. Graduation is in less than a week and your under grad years are forever over. Four years (maybe more) flew by. Friends, memories, BSR’s, Rudy’s, etc.

You have one week left, before it’s goodbye for the summer or for good. Go take a day trip to the bluffs with your closest friends. Have a bomb fire and make smores or have that one last crazy night in downtown Oswego. Make it the best week even if you do have finals. There is always time for a little fun. Have that lifetime movie marathon you and your friends have talked about all semester. Eat a gallong of ice cream and cry your eyes out. Go to your favorite diner or cafe one last time. Enjoy what Oswego really has to offer. You’ll miss it when you’re done.

For the freshmen, you still have three more years, live it up! For those seniors, you have one week, make it the best week of your college career. For everyone in between, enjoy every second of it, college goes by way to quickly. You may hate these last few weeks. All you want to do is get done and go home. When it’s over, you’ll wish you savored every moment and didn’t rush home after finals. This is my advice as a junior. I have one more year. One more year to make memories I’ll never forget, take chances, meet new people, try new places, go driving and get lost, etc. Seniors- Congrats! Wish you all the best.

I am from a small town outside of Syracuse, New York. In high school, I ran Cross Country and track where I competed in the 100m hurdles, 4x1, 200m and many other events. I now attend SUNY Oswego and I am majoring in journalism and anthropology. I have recently added a minor in health science because of my passion for health and fitness. Last semester, I wrote a health and fitness blog for Her Campus Oswego. I currently work as a personal trainer on campus. I love readings, writing, skiing, running, and I am a major shop-aholic! KM <3
