Why did you choose Oswego?

I chose Oswego for many reasons; one being, I fell in love with the campus; it is gorgeous right on the water. Also, Oswego is my dad’s alma mater. He graduated with a degree and masters in technology education. I really like the education program here as well as the gen. eds., so that is another thing that made me choose this school. And lastly, my aunt owns Paul’s Big M in the village of Oswego, so she is close by if I need anything.

 

Favorite Food?

My favorite food has to be grilled chicken.

 

Music?

I love all kinds of music but my favorite is pop.

 

Singer?

My favorite singers are Train, Imagine Dragons, Jason Mraz, Owl City, Ed Sheeran and many more.

 

Memory Growing up?

I have so many wonderful memories growing up, but my favorite has to be all the time we spent as a family. Between vacations and Sunday dinners, even before and after school. We are really close and family is the most important thing to me besides doing well in school. 

 

Dream Job?

My dream job is being a teacher. Any grade in the elementary I would be happy with. I just love being with kids and helping them learn and grow. 

 

If there was on person you could spend an entire day with, who would it be?

I would pick my Papa Ed (Grandpa). We do so many things together, from playing baseball and golf, to cooking and playing games. I love him so much and we always have wonderful and crazy adventures together. I couldn’t imagine spending a whole day with someone besides him.

I am a Junior at SUNY Oswego and am majoring in Communication and Social Interaction. My dream job is to work with students to help them figure out what they want to pursue a career in (Guidance Counselor, Addmissions Advisor). I am very shy, but once I get to know a person I am very caring and fun. Something that is very important in my life is my family. Family always comes first in my book. I am the second oldest of four daughters (yeah, my dad is the only male, poor guy). I hope to make friends here at Oswego (come one, come all) and to do really well in school. Deans list hopefully :)
