Why did you choose to go to SUNY Oswego?I liked Oswego because it was close to home, but not too close. The school also has a great journalism program. I really fell in love with Oswego the second I saw the ice hockey rink. It’s beautiful and hockey is one of my favorite sports.
What do you like to do in your spare time?I love to watch television, read and sleep. That’s pretty much what my life consists of.
What is one interesting fact about you?Hm, tough one. Maybe that my dog has one eye? That’s what I usually tell people. They’re pretty surprised, but I’m used to her one eye. She’s still a cutie.
What is your favorite movie? The Outsiders! That movie is the best.
What is your favorite food?Probably chicken riggies (ask any Central New Yorker about them and they usually rave about the delicious food). And pizza too. And ice cream.
What is your favorite animal?Dogs and giraffes!
What has it been like being an editor of Her Campus Oswego?I’ve enjoyed my time with Her Campus. It’s great to write and edit for them and I like chatting with the writers at Oswego. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I’ve checked out some of the other Her Campus sites and it’s cool to see how many awesome women are out there, doing amazing things.
What do you plan to do once you graduate? I honestly have no clue what I’m doing after graduation. I plan on applying for a lot of jobs and seeing what that gets me. I do plan on moving to the south eventually though. As long as I find a job that makes me happy. That’s all I care about at this point in my life.
What is your favorite type of music? Any favorite bands?I love all types of music. Even rap, which surprises some people. My favorite band is definitely New Kids on the Block. I’ve seen them three times in concert. I’m a big fan of boy bands.
