Have you listened to “Die For You” (Remix) by The Weeknd and Ariana Grande? If not, I need you to stop everything that you are doing and listen to it right now. A musical collaboration that never fails to miss has blessed our ears yet again with a wonderful reunion. Ariana shocked fans on Feb. 21 when she posted a TikTok of her in a studio editing music. Soon enough, the cover art was posted to social media, announcing that the remix would drop on Feb. 23. Personally, it has been blasting in my ears since it dropped. In my opinion, the Weeknd and Grande’s voices blend perfectly together. I am extremely happy that this remix dropped, especially since Ariana has been away from the music scene for a while. I think my only complaint would be for the song to be longer. However, I will take whatever I can get.

Faith, a Pace University student, is also extremely happy with the collaboration stating, “I loved the collab. I think that they never miss. Ariana’s voice sounded a bit different, like using her head voice more; however, she still sounds gorgeous, and I love her.” When asking other Pace students about their opinions, the majority of responses agreed and were big fans of the collaboration. Personally, I think that we need a full album from these two wonderful singers. “Die For You” (Remix) is an amazing creation and I cannot wait to see what Ariana Grande and The Weeknd do next!
