Where is one place that everyone should go to in Queens?Â
“That’s actually a tough question because Queens is so big. I recently went to the Queens Museum where they have a panorama model of all of New York City that was built for the World’s Fair in 1964. The museum is in Flushing Meadows Park, which was the grounds of the fair and home to the Unisphere, which I definitely consider to be an icon of Queens.”

What do you hope to accomplish before graduating Pace?
“Before graduating Pace, I would like to have a more concrete career path. As of right now, I know I would definitely like to work in an investigative capacity, however, I am not sure of the specifics or what agency I would like to work for. I aim to find more work in my field, whether it be part time or another internship, before graduation.”
Do you hope to add on a minor at some point before you graduate?
“I am thinking of declaring a minor in Sociology/Anthropology after this semester.”

You had the opportunity to go to Italy last summer for a travel course through Pace. What was the most rewarding experience of that venture?Â
“My experience traveling to Italy to study their Criminal Justice system was incredible; I’m so glad that I chose to participate in that program. At first, I was hesitant because I had never left the country and I didn’t know any of the other students who were going on the trip. However, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and try something new; I always wanted to visit Italy and learn more about foreign criminal justice systems and culture. It turned out to be an amazing experience. I got to see the beautiful cities of Florence and Rome and experience all of the history and culture while learning more about my field of study. The trip also gave me the opportunity to meet new, incredible people, (including my boyfriend), with whom I became great friends and got to share a great experience with. The most rewarding part of this experience was being immersed into the culture so quickly. We stayed in a hostel in the heart of Florence where ten of us were in very close quarters, which allowed us to get to know each other well and experience the culture firsthand. For anyone contemplating taking a travel course, I would say go for it, you won’t regret the experience despite any concerns you may have about traveling.”
