Let’s face it, the financial district doesn’t have the best nightlife in Manhattan. Luckily, it does have a few hidden treasures you need to check out!
- Fresh Salt: This tiny little bar is hidden at South Street Seaport. Enjoy a $5 house cocktails and wine and beer happy hour, Monday through Friday from 4pm to 8pm!
- Cowgirl Seahorse: If you attend Pace, you MUST know about this hidden gem. Their weekly happy hour is from 3 to 7pm. But, more importantly, reverse happy hour begins at 8pm and ends at midnight on Sundays with $6 margaritas or $5 beers. Along with the cheap, strong drinks, this place serves up some awesome Mexican food, I highly suggest the chicken nachos. And, before you leave, don’t forget to take a mystery shot!
- Ulysses: This vintage Irish pub is located on stone street, the most fabulous drinking/eating escapade in FiDi! Not only do they have live music on Fridays…they have HOT WALL STREET MEN, need I say more? Stop by stone street on St. Patrick’s Day or during their annual Oktoberfest for a huge outdoor party you don’t want to miss!
- The Dead Rabbit: This bar was voted best bar in the ENTIRE WORLD last October and it’s right down the street from us, how crazy is that? The Dead Rabbit serves vintage cocktail punches that have been around since George Washington once walked these very streets!
- Industry Kitchen: This hip, low-key dinner spot is located on the pier at South Street Seaport which means incredible views of the Brooklyn and Verrazano bridge. Grab a drink with the ferry commuters throwing back some “brew skies” before their ride home.
- Clinton Hall: This beer garden is located near Battery Park City in FiDi. Here, you can sit outside with friends and drink a cold one while playing outdoor games like giant Jenga and chess! Word on the street is that they have a 12% beer that tastes like coffee!
- Jeremys: This bars ceiling is covered with girls’ bras and their beers are served in huge Styrofoam cups, what’s not to love?
